DR. PETER HARNOIS
Bio and Credentials
Dr. Peter Harnois graduated with honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry in 1982. He served as class president and a member of the student council for 3 years. He received numerous awards and honors including:
- The American College of Dentistry Award of Merit.
- The Phi Delta Dental Fraternity Outstanding Academic Achievement Award.
- The Department of Oral Diagnoses Outstanding Senior Student Clinician Award.
- Graduated with honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry.
- Received the Lifetime Alumni Award from the University of Illinois in 1982.

Dr. Harnois was a professor of Oral Diagnosis at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry from 1983-1988. He has been practicing general and cosmetic dentistry in Hinsdale, IL since 1983. In July of 2008, he opened America’s first LUMINEERS and Sapphire Whitening Center at the One Magnificent Mile Building on Michigan Ave in Chicago, IL.
Dr. Harnois is America’s leading LUMINEERS dentist and has used his comprehensive skills and artistry to place over 2,500 smile enhancing LUMINEERS and over 40 arches of LUMITray. Dr Harnois is an international lecturer for LUMINEERS, LumiTray and Sapphire Teeth Whitening. He now offers a unique over-the shoulder training course for dentists at his Chicago LUMINEERS Center.
Dr. Harnois majored in zoology and graduated Cum Laude from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1978. He was named MVP in 1975 and 1976 and captain of the swim team in 1977 and 1978. In 1985, he was inducted into the Ohio Wesleyan Athletic hall of Fame.
Dr. Kimberly Dyoco
Dr. Kimberly Dyoco attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI, where she received a bachelors degree with a major in dental hygiene. After practicing dental hygiene for three years, Dr. Dyoco went back to Marquette University’s School of Dentistry. During her years in dental school, she was actively involved in dental research and numerous service organizations that provided dentistry to those with limited access to dental care, including mission trips to Central America and Africa. Dr. Dyoco elected to further her education after dental school by taking a one year position at the University of Utah’s general practice residency, where she practiced general, emergency, and hospital dentistry. Additionally, she gave dental presentations to various specialties within the hospital, including plastics and radiation oncology. Currently, Dr. Dyoco is also an associate at two dental offices and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Her experience in so many roles in dentistry and in multiple work environments has taught her so much about personalizing patient care and meeting the needs and wants of every patient. “My hope is that each person who walks in the door will leave with a great big smile on their face! And not simply because I’ve provided quality dental care, but because they trust that I will do whatever I can to make their dental experience comfortable.”
